The Guilford House
The nursing department is comprised of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants. The nursing department manages all aspects of the patient’s clinical program that originates from the hospital discharge. The nursing department manages and communicates internally and externally with all clinical disciplines to insure a smooth and coordinated recovery process from admission to discharge. On a typical day there are between 4-6 RN’s in various supervisory and clinical care capacities. On the first shift the ratio of staff to patient is 4.5, second shift 5.2 and third shift 11.3.
