The Guilford House is a model of what all other Rehab/Skilled Nursing facilities should strive to be. It is, by far, the best on the Shoreline. This is a private husband and wife owned facility and everything is top notch–the staff, the decor, the food and the physical facility itself. The level of care from the CNAs, RNs, PT, OT, and onsite physicians is unsurpassed. This place is where all families should begin their search if rehab or skilled nursing is needed. If I could rate it ten stars, I would.

My sister and I would like to thank you for the wonderful care you and your staff provided to our Mom Betty S. during her 11+ weeks at the Guilford House.  She received all the necessary support for a full recovery, which has enabled her to return to her home at The Hearth in Madison.  She was kept comfortable early on in the days right after her surgery, and throughout her physical therapy.  The entire staff gives it their all to make each patient feel at home.  They were friendly and eager to help.  When you walk into the Guilford House you feel good about the place.  It is bright, clean, and modern, which makes you know they are striving hard to do what is right for each patient.

A special thanks to you, Cal, for making Mom laugh and doing things like getting her the daily New York Times and organizing her own special birthday breakfast.  It will be with great pleasure that we recommend your outstanding facility.
