The Guilford House was so much more than what we expected for a rehabilitation center. The food was like going to a high class restaurant. Even though everything was done for all the patients, allowing the spouse to share the meal with them was in mind. Cal your personality was so much appreciated. You made everyone feel so close to home as possible under the circumstances. The staff was great right from the top, down to the aids who played the most important part in making the patients comfortable. The Guilford House will be highly recommended by us to anyone who may find themselves in the situation where they need a facility such as yours. Thanks to The Guilford House for making a bad situation a little bit better.

I want to write and thank you on behalf of the entire B Family for your outstanding rehabilitation facility and clinical team. The staff at every level exceeded our expectations , the customer service was just remarkable… on par with the “Ritz Carlton”…. It was a Guest experience with a Clinical focus. Our mother is progressing with her home care program and has recently gone back to the dining room and has begun to sing your praises with her friends here at Chester Village West.

I know for a fact that they are impressed, since I was stopped in the hallway the other afternoon and told that, based on my mother’s recommendation; they had already moved their sister to the Guilford House. I will stop by next week to pick up the outstanding items from Mom’s room. Enclosed please find the balance on her private room and a check for the staff Holiday Celebration as a token of our mother’s appreciation for an incredible firsthand experience of your service.

In closing we certainly hope she will not need additional inpatient services… but you can count on her returning to the Guilford house should the need arise. We are wishing you and your family along with your outstanding team a joyful healthy Holiday Season.

Dear Cal and Richard and the staff of the Guilford House,

I write to thank you for the excellent care and warm support I received during my recent stay.  You made an experience that could have been trying into a wonderful week of rest and rejuvenation.  Your personal touches made me feel special as they do for all those in your care.  As for the staff, I have nothing but praise.  I didn’t note everyone’s name, but I would single out my nurse whose conversations always cheered me.  And the rehab team is excellent.  Karen does an amazing job with energy and good humor – and I was impressed by the professionalism and warmth of Theresa and Virginia.  And the food!  I do miss the delicious meals that tempted my appetite and made me feel well care for.  I wish you the best for the holidays and send my thanks for being such a strong part of my rehab.
