The Guilford House is a 75 bed skilled nursing facility licensed by the Connecticut Department of Health.
The “original” building was approximately 18,000 square feet known as West Lake Lodge and dated back to the 1950s. West Lake Lodge was a superannuated structure that required significant renovation and new construction. The development plan demolished 8,000 square feet, renovated 10,000 square feet, and constructed approximately 31,000 new square feet. The new configuration opened November 2009 and features 23 private and 26 semi-private rooms.
