The answer clearly depends on “what you are in for” – knees and hips normally range from 5 to 14 days while strokes and other medical complications may require greater days of rehabilitation. A typical resident predicated on individual diagnosis will receive 2 to 4 hours of therapy daily divided between morning and afternoon sessions. Each resident’s plan of rehabilitation is closely integrated with nursing, dietary, medical and if applicable other therapeutic disciplines.
